How we built this list

We searched city recreation pages, the provincial tennis association, Tennis Canada and local searches for Toronto. Then we checked each facility against its own website. We only show facts that a source publishes; "not published" means the facility does not say. Last checked October 18, 2026.

No facility pays to be listed and we use no referral links. Missing a facility, or found a mistake? Tell us.

Also reported, not confirmed

A source says these have indoor tennis, but we could not confirm it from the facility itself. They are not in the counts above. Know one of them?Tell us.

Centennial Park tennis bubble (Etobicoke)

ProposedToronto · 6 courts planned

In March 2025 City staff named Centennial Park in Etobicoke as the preferred site for a six-court year-round tennis bubble, with up to $2 million from Tennis Canada. Staff still had to negotiate an agreement and bring it back to City Council, with public consultation. We found no later Council decision, and the City's May 2026 Centennial Park update does not mention tennis.

OTA Tennis Centre (Allen East, Downsview)

ApprovedToronto · 30 courts planned · Target: Fall 2030

The Ontario Tennis Association has a long-term land lease from the City of Toronto to build and run a 30-court indoor and outdoor tennis centre near the new Downsview subway area. The OTA targets a fall 2030 opening, and the lease requires the OTA to show funding before construction. Some courts will be set aside for community programs.

Rogers Dome at The Courts at San Romanoway (Philpott Children’s Tennis)

ProposedToronto · 2 courts planned

Philpott Children's Tennis plans a dome over the two rebuilt courts at San Romanoway so its free and low-cost kids' programs can run all year. A groundbreaking took place in March 2023, but the charity's own page says it is still finishing fundraising and permits, and construction will take about six months once it starts. Its 2026–27 winter programs are at other sites.
