HEAD junior tennis sponsorship

Yes, juniors can apply. Team HEAD USA takes competitive juniors 18 and under who play sectional and national tournaments and hold an official ranking (US residents only). HEAD Australia has its own form and asks for a top 10 national UTR for the birth year. Many guides say HEAD has no application; that is out of date.

How to approach HEAD, step by step

  1. Check the basics: 18 or under, US resident, sectional and national tournaments, an official USTA ranking.
  2. Have the USTA national and sectional singles rankings and the TennisRecruiting.net class ranking ready. The form requires all three; the ITF ranking is optional.
  3. Fill in the Team HEAD USA form. Add the current racquet and a short comment with recent results.
  4. Outside the US and Australia: contact the HEAD distributor or a HEAD representative at a national event.
  5. No answer after a few weeks? Apply again after the next good result or ranking jump.

How HEAD finds and signs juniors

  • HEAD says it spots young talent early and guides players through the first years; it names Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti (with HEAD since 2011), Matteo Berrettini and Alexander Zverev (since 2008), and says Taylor Fritz, Flavio Cobolli and Francisco Cerundolo developed under its support (HEAD story dated 16 Oct 2025). [6]
  • HEAD's story says Coco Gauff became a HEAD player in 2016 and Karolina Muchova signed in 2012 at 16; Barbora Krejcikova followed in 2016. [6]

Other ways to get HEAD gear support

  • HEAD Australia accepts coach sponsorship applications. [3]
  • HEAD's US FAQ also links a separate Pickleball Sponsorship page. [2]

What to watch out for

  • Many guides say HEAD has no public junior application or only describe an old video talent search ('Next Novak'). HEAD's FAQ now links 'Junior Tennis Sponsorships' to head.com/en_US/sponsorship-usa/. [2]
  • The Australia criterion (top 10 UTR by birth year nationally) is Australia-specific; HEAD USA publishes no UTR threshold. [4]
  • No HEAD Canada or HEAD UK junior sponsorship page was found (/en_CA/sponsorship-canada/ and /en_GB/sponsorship-uk/ return 404). [2]
